I would like to dedicate this page to my dad, the late Giorgio Beltrami who, not only has been a great role model as I was growing up but also taught me most of the many practical skills that I have today.
My dad was pretty handy at everything, well besides gardening that is, even as a kid I remember feeling sorry for our plants when he had a pruning saw in his hands. Luckily I have learnt that skill from my mom. My dad had always some projects on the go, whether it was fixing the roof, building a pergola or renovating the bathroom. He was bloody good at anything that he had a crack at, from plastering and painting to model boat building.

Within 15 minutes they turned up, disassembled and then turned up to the new house the next morning and reassembled. After a recent major home renovation requiring several different trades, I can confidently say that Arturo was by far the best and most pleasurable tradespeople I dealt with. In a time where most tradespeople either don't care, provide poor/unskilled work, or are very difficult / arrogant to deal with, what a privilege it was to at least have Arturo in charge of arguably, the most important part of our reno - kitchen/pantry and laundry build & install.
