I am proud to have been born and raised in Iowa. I began my insurance career in 2006 and I love that being a State Farm Agent gives me the chance to provide guidance and support to those looking to plan for their future. At the end of the day - ever day - we vow to be there for you. Helping policyholders prepare for the unexpected and have the ability to live life to the fullest is our forte. My Agency operates out of Hiawatha and happily serves the local residents as well as those living in the surrounding areas of Cedar Rapids, Marion, North Liberty, Coralville, and Iowa City. We are licensed to service all of Iowa, so please give us a call for all of your insurance needs.

I graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. I have a wonderful wife Molly and together we have two dogs named Willy and Sammie. When I am away from the office, you are likely to find me biking, golfing or playing hockey. I am also a huge Cyclone and Hawkeye fan and have proven my loyalty through all of the ups and down.

In addition to travel and seeking the next adventure, I enjoy reading, missionary work and being with friends and family, especially my grandchildren. Before moving to Cedar Rapids, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree from Wartburg college in my hometown of Waverly, Iowa. During my time at Wartburg, I was dual sport athlete playing on both the football and basketball teams. I spent a number of years post-graduation working hands on with builders all over Linn County and surrounding areas. After years of working on your investments, I came to Ben Wiemerslage’s agency in 2024 to help you protect them.
