In 1959 Robert Cruikshank mastered his craft of janitorial cleaning after working at the local hospital where he provided a high standard of sanitization practices. While doing this he had a vision of providing this level of service to companies throughout our community.

Cruikshank Cleaning Contractors has serviced the Peterborough area for the last 60 years. Robert and his family have provided over 3,000 employee positions to the Peterborough community since starting Cruikshank Cleaning Contractors.

Robert’s dedication to quality service and operating an integrous company for his employees and clients, has led him to manage the same contracts for as much as 30 out of the companies 60 continuous years in business. Robert instilled his passion and work ethic into his third family generation, who proudly carry on the company today.
